Yes I know C gamer just teasin

For me at least, I usually wait ~2 years until I don't worry about spoilers for video games. By the second year, the Price Drop/GOTY Edition/Whatever has past and whoever wanted the game has the game. It's free game at that point, so watch out! >:)

Anywho, Fire Emblem. Looks awesome. Can't wait. Ect. Etc.

I think etc. pretty much sums it up.

It should be mine by the end of the year. MWAHAHAHA!

Hopefully E3 reveals the details for those to the west of the Atlantic.

If not...

They didn't mention Xenoblade or any of the other games last year, and this year will be focused on Wii U. So I doubt it greatly.

The difference is that NOA hates the Wii, but they still seem to like the 3DS.

I sense either a late fall September/October 2012  or early spring February/March 2013 release in the states. Kinda random... but my Fire Emblem sense is tingling!

I hope you're right, but...has NoA really had any small game to localise? I don't think so!

The only one I can think of is Tales of the Abyss, and that launched in the US around 3 months later than around here.

This looks AWFUL.

It's like FE has become another generic JRPG.

Pixel Art can be fun.

So this trailer just came out of nowhere? It looks like something they would use in those Nintendodirect presentations.

*snip*

One of the fair arguments to make is that the EU announcement occurred during the Nintendo Direct, and the EU Nintendo Direct was just a straight subtitling of the JP Nintendo Direct, so they were essentially forced to announce Fire Emblem as TBA, or risk creating the idea that the game definitely wouldn't be released. The American Nintendo Direct was its own production, and was more distinctly focused on games releasing soon, not games of the distant future.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I just can't stand the gameplay in the Fire Emblem series. It's not that it's bad, it's just not for me. Graphics are kind of a letdown.
