I had a REAL hard time doing this because there were a lot of games in my list that were not console exclusive, especially for stuff this generation. almost every one of my favorite games this gen were on all systems, very few exclusives. For those, I made their own category. (some were on PS3, Wii, and 360, some were on PC and 360, some were on PS3 and 360).

This is of course going only by original releases, a LOT of games on my list were rereleased, some of which I only played the rerelease of, but I still put down the original system it was on. That said, all the PS360 and PSWii60 games are purchased on my PS3, so you could argue all three categories are PS3.

Going by my Top 50 my favorite platform is the SNES followed by the GC and RPG is by far my favorite genre altough my top 3 games are not RPGs

I've sent you all a PM (contact me if you didn't receive it) with a final message (and a minor rule addition) before we begin.

I'll post the Official Therad and the Discussion Thread (already loving the discussion and statistics we're seeing here!) tomorrow, so look out for them!

Got my 50 games! Now It's just a matter of arranging them by order. One thing I realized by making this list is how many awesome games the SNES had.

you and me both.  that signified the era in which games had basically been mastered at their level. Series and ideas were refined as well as they could go before making the jump to 3D.  It was also a pivotal moment when a lot of great series (mario, Final Fantasy, Zelda, Donkey Kong) hit their prime and established MANY of the things we see in their sequels down the line.
