Forums - General Discussion - What do you do to lose weight?

I try to eat around 1500 calories per day (instead of 2000) and not eat after 6pm. I work out for about 10 minutes a day aswell, but that hardly loses weight, just keeps my strength up. In the last 3 months I've lost 15 pounds (just over 1 stone), so it's working, not quickly but still working.
What do you or have you done to lose weight?

To lose weight I eat bacon wrapped around chunks of butter.



Ask me what I do to gain weight.... I freaked out when I found out that lost around 4 kilos in the past 6 months, need to go back to my lovely 110 kg mark again



I run. Lots.

I'm to the point where i need close to 3,000 calories just so I won't lose weight.

I run too. 5-6 km once in two days.

If what you need is 2000 per day and you are trying to eat 1500, that is not going to work. You should try to eat 1800-1900.

It does work, I've been losing weight through doing that and not eating after 6. "In the last 3 months I've lost 15 pounds"

Find out what your intestines are sensitive to and eat it all the time. That way you'll have daily diarrhoea and lose weight.



I was once 135kg's worth of a guy. xD.. (297lbs) .. right now, its 82KG (180~ lbs)
... hmh, how did i loose weight?..

1 .) The easiest solution; ive started smoking with 17. you wouldnt believe how fast you loose weight by just doing that.. since the body tries to cleanse your body from the shit you smoke, and even if the body's efforts arent worth a lot, there are still calories burned in the process.

2.) when i lost around 20Kg by just smoking, i was a bit more self confident, which led me to sign up at a Gym, while reducing the smoke. when i am really up for something, i run 15km's+, but its mostly around 5, twice a week. in addition, i do 30 minutes of excercises, 15 minutes before, and 15 minutes after i ran.

 

edit: since i've started to visit the gym, i can eat like the big ones, i think i eat around 2500 calories a day, without gaining weight at all.



I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

I lost about 100 pounds in 3 months. Only took working out 5 hours a day. >_>

How I lose weight now though, I drink soda instead of eating.
