Forums - General Discussion - So, this girl had a very strange and embarrassing request

I have two friends who met girls over the internet. Both turned out to be nut jobs later.

One girl scammed about €2000 off one guy, about 4 months after they started going out. Turns out she was actually targeting guys online around her own age (early to mid twenties) starting relationships with them, and once things settled and became secure, she would find a way to get money off them, then simply disappear. He didn't even report it because he was so embarrassed, we only got the full story out of him months later.

The other was a girl who turned out to have major issues that weren't apparent over Skype. A bizarre list of phobias, anxiety, depression, paranoia but to touch the tip of the iceberg. Also a stage 5 clinger, who wouldn't stop harassing him after he got rid of her.

I'm well aware this doesn't really relate to your story, but there are some extremely odd individuals out there, and the internet is the perfect place to find them, or for them to find you.

My advice: Go out to a club and pull a girl who A: You know is a girl. and B: Most likely wont be into farts.

Finding girls on the internet is just like shopping on eBay, sure it looks good in the picture, but without a feedback % You have no idea what you're getting.

At first I found this strange, then I remembered that once that old douche Khomeini, amongst the other oddities, wrote in his Green Book that it is inappropriate to fart in the face of the person bent in prayer behind you at the mosque: if he felt the need to write that recommendation, it means that there actually are people that fart in other not consenting people's faces at the mosque. Well, doing it during sex, not in a sacred place, and to consenting people, instead, looks to me less bizarre and a lot more polite!

This is the internet.

I think you know instinctively what to do in this situation.

I don't know, something awful like lick a toilet seat. Then block/ delete her because she's crazy.

Screw it go see if she is a chick then she's only kidding, you have to remember all chicks are at least 25% crazy.

OP, you should e-mailDan Savage. He should have an answer to this.

Huh. Who is he? *look up on Wikipedia* Oh. Doesn't really tell that much but I still don't see why. Wait, what was my question? *looks at the first post* Ah. Yeah, the situation has slightly changed from my understanding of 'before anything else can happen' to 'later, no rush' so my original question of 'should or not proceed' has become more or less irrelevant.

Also, you should something about me 'seriously considering this'. What would you do if you thought a girl was worth doing a lot for? I'm not at that point yet but if it ever comes to that, I'm ready to consider it. It's a goddamn fart, not murder or stripping publicly or anything. (And those two are something I'd never consider, well maybe the latter if I was paid very well... But I can't really imagine anyone paying that much ^^)

NO ONE, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IS WORTH DOING THAT FOR!!!

Ask her to fart on your face, seems fair to me.

1. I don't think I have that kind of money and I also believe it's already more or less apparent. Besides, I wouldn't fall for such a ruse :P

2. Yeah... Unless she can hide those traits very well, I doubt I have to worry about it. (I mean, I don't want a mentally unstable girlfriend.)

Anyway, thanks for your advice (it made sense and was friendly) but I think that living in a relatively small country, I have a lesser chance to run into anything extremely unpleasant. Not that it's impossible, just less likely. And either way, I think I'm being pretty cautious already so I shouldn't really have that much to worry.

About that club thing... I'm not very confident that the kind of girls I could have a relationship with really got to clubs a lot. (I'm don't really think I can easily find a relationship at all at a club. Sex? I imagine it would be less of a problem.) Besides, I'm not into clubs myself.

You mean they make sense but they're just crazy? That their logic actually has some logic in it? :o

She is just screwing with you. This is a fake relationship. Don't talk to her.

People prey on guys like you for kicks.

Yes, girls are all crazy and think they're logic is great even though we know they're usually wrong, if this is a girl she is only kidding and it's just a test to see what you'll say.
