If she / he tried to pull something then you can say you were just doing it for some of the best 'tang out there. If she doesn't try to pull something on you then you can tell her you did it because you like her.

Yeah, I can't really see myself losing much either. I've got to clear up a few things though, like why her MSN friends list doesn't seem to have any female people. Suspicious as... well, I don't know. Just plain suspicious I suppose. Very suspicious.

Glad you posted this, and hope all the responses have giving you some clarity. Some people are super manipulative - and friends are there outside of the situation to give you some perspective.
There are plenty of nice girls/guys in the world, but if you spend all your time on that one, you will not have much time to find the good ones.
