I think that 3DS will beat DS this year due to Christmas boost - however, I don't know how well the 3DS will hold up after this. It just needs games!

MK3D SML3D and LM3D say hi ^^ . First one is a sure 20M seller over the life of the console, second may be too, the other is more a coreNintendo player christmass bonus, still, that's 2 heavy weights in the jumbo category... should keep sales for a bit.

oh and hopefully KI comes out this year too (that's the one i've been waiting a while).

3Ds sales are lower than Ds of course, but it's not as bad if you there's almost no software yet (except Zelda)

hang on there 3Ds, Mario's coming to save ya
