Forums - Gaming Discussion - Shadows of the Damned comes out next week...got any expectations?

Do you guys remember Shadows of the Damned?...you know, that game from Shinji Mikami/Suda 51/Akira Yamaoka (here´s a trailer:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEoJsJGU3jM)....is this game even on your radar?

It comes out June 21st, next week...so, in case the game hasn´t been flying under your radar, do you have any expectations about the game?...think it´ll be good?

No idea . . . so little has been said about it on the big game sites. From experience, this usually isn't a great thing.

Guess the only choice we have is to wait for reviews.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

I expect the game will be very good but won't sell much just like what happened with Vanquish... except there was more hype for Vanquish so this one will probably sell even less xD.
I'll buy it as soon as I can, it should be a fun (and funny) game.... I'm busy with studies and stuff though, so I should wait until around July 15 or later to get it so I don't get distracted but I don't know if I'll end up waiting or getting it right when it's available here.

There's almost no hype for this game :S

A banner stolen from some site xD

Release Final Fantasy Versus XIII nowwwwwwwwww!!! lol :P

Right now I'm watching the game but with OoT I won't be able to get this first week so I'll wait till reviews come out to make my choice of what price to jump on it.

Former something....

Probably going to flop, its like EA didn't care at all with the marketing.

It looks great by the way, check it out:

I heard it wasn't too great from a site that had went to one of the EA spring showcases.

It's still a creative Japanese game though

I expect to get it day one. Fuck EA and their shitty marketing, this game looks boss as hell.

I'm afraid it's going to be a huge sale flop.
