Why do people even bother posting such crap as this?

By the way a simple "tldnr" response only just says one of two things "i am not educated enough to understand the topic" or "I didn't have time to read the topic." However if ther person trully did not have the time to read the topic, why do they have the time to reply? That leaves only option 1.

It also assumes her husband has no job.

She's divorced, I believe. There was a persistent rumor last year that she was having an affair with a married defense lobbyist.

Your point stands, though. She's pretty vile.

Her website still shows her smiling with a husband and 4 kids.

Interesting and sad, in fact I thought at first this was a joke and something like that could not happen..

Then again if you see the debt clock something must be done..and what is planned parenthood exactly? Get a child and don't get financial help?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_Parenthood

I didn't think much of it at first either.  Wish I didn't have to :/

Takes also care for abortion...makes sense the replucans would not mind stop funding it...even if the funds are not that high at all..

Taxpayers are spending about $317 million USD a year in propping up Planned Parenthood. It should be de-funded along with most other federal social programs. PP can stand on its own.

That is nothing compared to what taxpayers are going to lose in income if they don't fix their disagreement in time...  This is more about politics and less about the amount of money they would save...  Have a discussions about it on a later date, if you have a debt increase of 2-4 Billion a day this 317 Million will not save or kill USA..Well that is my opinion..  (Not saying I disagree with you about the part that they need to stop funding it)..

What do you mean 'taxpayers are going to lose in income'?

They are going to save billions a day if the government shuts down. I don't think its more about politics, because there is a major disagreement as to how much reduction the federal government needs to have. One side says that we must save $6 billion a year, the other side says $60 billion. That is a pretty big argument, IMO.

I'm a member of the Armed Force and my C.O. just explained to us today that they will stop paying us after the 8th. I had no clue this was going to happen. It's the first Goverment S/D that the military doesn't get pay. Wonder how they'll explain this to the people who are fighting overseas?

I heard they will get paid, maybe not for the ones who are not doing any service at the moment?  Why should a police officer get paid and someone fighting in Afghanistan not?

We had a similar brief from our C.O. on base, but it is discretionary based on the assumption that no budget is passed.  I looked into it and apparently if they did pass something by this coming tuesday, DFAS could still process our pay by the 15th.  If not, either way DFAS will process a so-called "emergency payday" so when funds are appropriated to the government, we will get our pay when that happens, even if it is in the middle of pay periods.

There is so much commition going on with this issue, however I'm confident something will be resolved in the coming days.  If you have a Navy Fed account BTW you will receive your pay regardless.  They serve all branches so regardless of which branch you are in you can check it out.  Information is on their homepage.

Oh. I guess this is Linda Sanchez. Usually it's Loretta Sanchez who is in the news for doing something stupid.

Deal averts federal shutdown

President Obama says negotiators reached a budget deal that will avoid a shutdown. The House will pass a short-term measure that will keep the government funded through next week, when a longer-term package will be enacted.

holy shit, I just posted something along those lines on Ron Paul's post on FaceBook.

My comment:

"While I am a libertarian and believe that the hydra of government need to lose a few heads and never grow them back, I disagree with one cut that the Tea Party seems hellbent on doing, which is stopping the EPA and preventing them from stopping polluters. The Clean Air Act specifically has prevented a ton of health issues and will help more. Generally I disagree with Regulations, but the EPA's saves lives and helps."
