Sony needs to do anything? Its a game thats on both platforms, and that game isn't better looking that Uncharted 2 (In my opinion) thus I don't feel like they need to do anything.

 

But... for those who think Crysis 2 is a "tad" better than Un2 (Which I doubt are too many...) Uncharted 3 is coming soon XD. They can't really do anything but improve. EVEN IF something happend, and the game looks JUST like Uncharted 2, its still fucking amazing LOL.

You need to take a chill pill. Some bannings may be swifter but I wouldn't go as far as to call bias on the mod team, both PS3 and Wii trolls get banned just as fast.

WOW YOU WENT ALL OUT TO PROVE HOW MANY SITES DID'T SAY IT WAS THE CONSOLE KING, IT IS! YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO OUT AND SHUFFLE FOR THE PROOF OFF A MAGAZINE. IT'S ON THE GAME, IT IS THE CONSOLE KING AND XBOX 360 IS THE MASTER.

Take Uncharted 2 at HD and Crysis 2 at "sub hd" and they look equaly good (or bad depending what you're used to) on a 1080p TV. Both get upscaled to shit, and since they cant afford much AA on consoles both have the exact same issues.

 

Are you a PC user? If so then run a game in 1280x720 and 1152x720 e see the difference... that's 12% more pixels make the graphics.

Show me the resolution didn't make difference in graphics and performance.

Uncharted had better graphics than Crysis 2 and run in 720p without fps drop or texture pop-up... THAT IS GRAPHIC KING!

At this point, looking at your posts, I'm pretty sure I know a lot more about PC and resolutions than you do...and you're wrong.

1280x720 is better than 1152x720 but using that as a a factor which solely determines graphics quality is absurd.

You can have a 720p game look better than a native 1080p game if you give it nice amount of anti aliasing and a better frame rate.

I am not saying Crysis 2 looks better than Uncharted 2 mind you. I havent even played Crysis 2 yet on consoles... But you people posting the "its sub hd so it sux" argument need to stop as it sounds follish and makes it obvious you don't know what you're talking about.

The thing is crysis 2 has a SUB hd resolution, and has a horrible framerate. While games like like uncharted 2, Killzone 3, and God of War run at a stable framerate in 720 p .

I dont care for the graphics king..... gameplay is what matters to me.... yea a game can look beautiful, but who cares if the gameplay isnt the same......

I haven't played the console versions yet but I am pretty sure "horrible framerate" is an exageration. I've seen the Digital Foundry review of it and while there are a few rough spots on consoles, its not horrible by any means.

The thing about Crysis 2 is that its quite large in scope. The areas are much larger than anything found in Killzone 2 and it doesn't use static cameras like god of war.   After seeing how well it runs on a PC, I can honestly say that the Cryengine 3 makes absolutely the best use of hardware resources out of any other game engine ever before.

Cryengine 3 is definetly the best console engine to date. No doubt about that. But in the xbox version the framerate would go into the teens in hectic firefights. I atleast want a stable 30 fps in a game. Thats the bare MINIMUM.

I see. Yeah when gunfights happen 30 is the minimum you can comfortably have and have a good experience.

Here is the big question then...

If they were to make Crysis 2 with the Killzone 3 engine on consoles, do you think it would look better, worse or same?

What about the other way around, Killzone 3 with Crysis 2 engine?

Killzone 3 with crysis 2 engine? Best looking game ever I would say lol. I mean the Cryengine is beast. Mix that with Killzone's awesome sci-fi setting you got yourself a winner. well the pc version of course. I think killzone 3 is the best graphics possible while maintaining a steady 30 fps while in a large scale war for a console.. But who knows I might be wrong.
