Been scouring the Minecraft forums this morning for more inspiration for the city. Found a freaking TON of stuff to consider (evidently, cities are really popular on the MC forums today).

I have MUCH more than enough content to work with for the next few weeks at least.

Many of the things I'm building in the city right now, I'm trying to build in such a way that they can be expanded to 250+ tall if the built limit is increased. I'm not planning on having MANY buildings that are that tall, but I want it to at least be able to have a few.

just an fyi in the morning sometime between 9AM and noon edt i will be updating bios/drivers on the tower so the server will be down, a whole slew of updates came out yesterday including fixes for one of my stability issues

I probably won't be able to play again until tomorrow night because I have duty tonight from 4PM to 8AM and will want to get some sleep after that. But when I do play again, I have multiple exciting buildings to construct. I've already built two new diamond-shape-inspired ones - a funny temple of some sort and a business office-type building. Next I plan to build a fancy apartment building, probably going to be near the one diamond-shaped office building, if there's enough space.

Managed to get some Internet access and I've been playing some 1.8. Endermen are freaky. Sun control is nice, but too sensitive. NPC villages are too rare. New blocks are nice. Can't figure out how to turn on Creative mode.
