I know, but in my country that kind of stuff usually dont work like that (Warranty and new models), I'm still waiting and yes, I want a 360, has some great games but the warranty stuff is not enough for me in my country...

360 is safe you guys.
This thread is about the game though.
Everything about this review is excellent and I really want to play it, but I'm not a hardcore gamer and 35 hours of play scares me.
btw, how many achievement point did you get after 35 hours?

I won't even bother with your answer, Mass Effect had hype, moneyhats and the backing of Xbox mags while The Witcher was developed by an unknown polish developer and was on PC.

Go ask at Neogaf and people who played both games and they'll most likely say The Witcher IS better. Oh and also, an 80% game on PC equals to a 90% game on consoles, just FYI (if you get the point)

The Witcher's story was based on a book written by Andrzej Sapkowski, and it is brilliant.

You can spout 'ZOMG TEH RANKS!?! SUXORS!!' all you want, but you won't get you point across.

Ah one last thing, someone moneyhated both Metacritic and Gamerankings since there are alot of average/not great reviews from Mass Effect that were not counted by both sites, including the 60% from PC Gamer.

i got about 450-500 my first playthrough

for some danm reason i did almost all the side quests etc and it still didnt give the the achievement for unlocking most of the game. i also used the asari ALL game even if i hated her just so i could get that achievment at the end

and it didnt give it either danmit

Why the hell is pc gamer reviewing mass effect. Its only for 360 currently they have zero authority Thats like xbox 360 magazine reviewing pc games.

BTW dont really care mass effect is a far greater game in my opinion and you can argue all you want.

Seriously being hyped has nothing to do with it, multiple games with goty hype have gotten less, look at AC it was hyped as GOTY and is getting respectable 83-85 average.

I wont judge the witcher but all i can say is you have not played mass effect so leave it at that

also can we please get a mod in here to control this danm trolling its pissing me off

 Clearly not enough. Need to do a couple dozen of those uncharted planet sidequests to get completionist as well pretty much every sub-quest on the main planets. To get the character achievements you need to do the same ammount of quests with them in the party.

did all but one that wasnt a either find the minerals etc or medals

There must of been more because i did all but a few.
