I have to say, that song in the beginning of the video is the best song in gaming. Period.

Anyway... I hate saying this (because I haven't played it yet), but this looks GOTY material... this game looks, sounds and plays like a dream -  the play part I'm supposing, but it innovates and looks to play perfectly with those innovations.

I finally figured out what that song reminds me of. You'll hear it at 1:30

Good find ... iv barely seen any new information for this game in ages.

Btw, anyone know what this means:

'' due to the limited controls on the Wiimote, the available controls have to adapt to the environment.''

I interpret it as meaning that one button will have many functions depending on the context in which it is pressed. Press 1 far from an enemy and you shoot it, press 1 close to an enemy and you throw it across the room. That kind of thing.

Makes sense, i think the normal attack button could be used for finishing moves when you weakened the enemy enough. Just thought, it would be pretty cool if the finishing moves were quick time events.

In my opinion Twilight Princess is better than Ocarina of t... * gets shot *

Yeah, I can see the similarities! But thank god the metroid theme is not a copy... I was afraid to watch the video and find the song a little bit too much similar.

But good catch, blade runner now became even better to me.

Also, in Metroid Prime you could change between 4 beams while in Metroid Prime 3 each new beam u get gets added to the current beam and upgrades it because the wiimote lacks the 2nd analog used 2 switch beams in Prime 1.

If that happened, we'd never hear the end of it from the God of War fans! Nintendo copied Sony.......

^^

lol didn't realise GOW had qte finishers, anyway sony fanboys arn't in a position to cry copycat. Pretty sure that GOW didn't start that off either but i dont think that will stop them trying to 'claim' it.

They could have put that option in a menu as you would not need to change beams that often. I think they removed it because it would be/was an unnecessary hassle.

Btw i have not played the gamecube prime games so i could be wrong ...

I shouldn't have watched that. I really need this game...I have the money sitting right here, but not the game!

No.

They could have handled beam switching just like they handled visor switching. The reason the beams stack is because they don't have wildly varying functionality.

That is why in the Metroid Prime Trilogy the multiple beams were edited out of the game, it wasn't possible to have that mechanic AND use Wii controls.

?

No, they weren't...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
