I think a "WTF?" exclamation was more than "I am not a fan of purple," but more "There is something wrong with the person who made the decision to go with purple, because there is something wrong with purple cases"

If it was simply a PERSONAL preference against purple, it would hardly warent such chagrin.  It was quite obvious that there are overtones of "something being wrong with purple cases"

aiding the consumer in distinguishing kinect games from non-kinect games is obviously a good idea.

 

...but i can't not comment on the 100 pound gorrilla in the room....kinect is being marketed as a girly product made for little girls to play little girl games.

Purpleis a good idea for mine, in my store (we are an electronics store who sells gps, laptops, game consoles, tvs, dvds etc, the big stuff ) the games are rather cluttered so purple is a good change.

are you serious? In a lot of things, green and purple go together this isnt actually rare. It doesnt mean its gonna be targetted for girls just because its purple... some people are seriously overkill with the attack on kinect
