What Rage offers is pretty much no textures are the same and very good AI, what that means is a non-bland open world to explorer in games like, for example, Fallout, or MMOs, anything big basically, and is going to be as usual, best on PC. You won't see the actual powers of CryEngine3 or idTech5 unless you are on PC, but they look fine on consoles.
I don't know why everyone gets so worked up over graphics when it comes to shooters. To be honest I'm looking more forward to Wii's Goldeneye remake than any of these potential graphics kings.
exactly why I was impressed the moment I saw it.. you don't get that with any game ever

Coming to a city environment where everything is square and has sharp corners, much easier to make look good. When its all said and done this game will look great on the PC, but nothing that spectacular on the consoles. It will easily be surpassed by one of the exclusives coming out on each console |
I can't agree anymore.
I would add that the new direction taken by Crysis 3 means it is now downgraded to the HD consoles, which are just a five year old computer. After beating Crysis a few times, graphics are great but the sandbox gameplay is just meh , just another random stealth FPS to me (but the tank onslaught fight that was great imho !!!).
I don't expect that much from this second opus.

Thank you. It looks quite good considering it's supposed to be in 60fps and has a fairly long draw distance.

You should have just bought a PS3, or stuck to the PC, then you wouldn't need to keep championing the 360 in an area it's been the underdog for most of this gen selnor. Bulletstorm has better graphics then Uncharted 2? Do you actually even believe that? From what I've seen the game would have to undergo a massive graphics overhaul before launch to even be in the same league as Uncharted 2. The same goes for Vanquish and Enslaved, while beautiful (not so sure about that in the case of Vanquish) they're not graphics king contenders by any means. |
I'm not really referring to graphics king as such. My point was there is such a small amount of difference that it is pointless. Games at this E3 were doing alot more scale and onscreen enemies and destruction than games we have now.
Technically, this E3 stepped it up.
And I'm not the one complaining or trying to make the 360 look better.
PS3 fans are the ones in this thread, talking about how they think X PS3 exclusive beats out Cryisis 2 or Rage or Bulletstorm Etc.
Funny is all I have got to say.
They all look to close to make any miniscule judgement to say the least.
another game and thread that shows great screenshots. than you see it in motion and it's not as good...
when will people learn?
