Their new game better be the horror game that was rumored!!

Will they keep developing PS3 exclusives at the same rate? Like one a year? That's what I want to know.

^^I guess since they have 2 studio's now.....1 making the multiplat game 1 focusing on PS3 exclusives.

Well D'oh. But good for them - supporting the IP's they've built while expanding at the same time.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I'm a little disappointed, not because they are making games for the 360, bu because I think this may have a delay in producing their games. I'm sure that it will be their smaller HQ that opened up in North Carolina (I think it was there) but that probably means that these new multiplat games will take a loong time to release (especially if their bigger studio needs to come in and help them out, which can delay the games from their bigger studio from releasing). All in all, I hope their next game is indeed that survival horror game, I NEEDS IT!

Depends on a couple of things I think:

1 - size of new IP effort

2 - capability of new studio

3 - level of optimization of their tools/code to streamline cross platform development

Porting code from PS3 to 360 is apparently much easier and slicker than going from 360 to PS3, so I'd guess they have a couple of options:

1 - business as usual from the main studio pumping out R&C and Resistance while the new studio handles the bulk of new IP

2 - core studio produces core games with PS3 as lead and the new studio focuses on producing 360 version

3 - something even smarter I'm sure they'll think up themselves

With the last Resistance I felt some cracks showed in producing large HD titles every 12 months like clockwork, so I actually wouldn't be suprised if they switch to more of an 18 month timeframe with 2 games in development with overlapping releases starting at the midway point of each title - i.e. game A launches and 9 months later Game B launches then 9 months later Game C launches

as long I get my Resistance 3, I dun care what they do.

Don't worry, Insomniac assured that they will continue to produce and support their existing games(resistance and ratchet).
