Forums - Sony Discussion - Killzone 3 does away with excessive swearing

ah, I thought this was a filter for those teens who can't express themselves without swearing.

Actually, I dont mind a lot of swearing in my games as long as it's done right and it's not abused like in KZ2. Like for example, in Bad Company 2. the game did have swearing but I felt it was used naturally in campaign and multiplayer. also like when a nearby player gets shot by a sniper, he's gonna scream "AW FUCK! SNIPER!!" it feels natural and right.

My problem with KZ2 is that every. single. sentence had the words fuck, shit, ass...etc.

@bobobologna
I tottaly agree with you. the way it was used in House of the Dead: Overkill was hilarious. Killzone 2 did it seriously and that's why it failed in that regard.

Thank f**k! I couldn't stand that s**t, it got on my f**king nerves. I f**ing hate it when games swear too f**king much.

No fun if there's no swearing from time to time...

I never really understood the Rico hate...

I think Rico is a cool guy who kills helghast and he doesn't afraid of anything.

Oh he revives you when you're critically injured in KZ3. YAY for that !

I agree with you, the swearing made it a little more realistic.
