You know that guy who sits at the corner store and mumbles stuff about radio waves and Vietnam?  He also has a reason for believing what he does.

Well it is the 5th year for the 360 and the 4th for Wii and PS3.

Normally the PS4 and 720 would be released next year.

When people realize that Patcher is no more of an analyst then either you or I. Things will be alot better. Patcher is now a paid stooge who is just there to distract people from the real issues.

When a analyst use words like "FLUKE!" to explain something. We are in real big trouble. Imagine if your Teacher or Professor answered a question with "Hmm Not Sure about that!" Wouldn't you be a little worried. This person who should know the answer doesn't know ^(&)__!

And they are teaching me!

Patcher is a moron and a fool! Any person or business that takes his advise deserves to go bankrupt!

Maybe it means he's leaving the industry to focus elsewhere.

It's not that hard to figure out. It's simply the natural slow months of summer coupled with the fact that core gaming is on the decline. People refuse to admit this, but the numbers don't lie.

I don't get what you mean? We've had plenty of big sellers this year software wise, how can it be a decline in core gaming when plenty of core games have released and sold very well, Heavy Rain, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Monster Hunter Tri, Mass Effect 2, God of War 3 and Final Fantasy have all sold well above a million copies (some on multiple platform's).

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

i think there is a much bigger problem that needs to be addressed!

since the beginning of gaming, there has a consistent time when people hardly buy any games, and that is from Midnight to 6:00 am!

the Industry needs do something about that fast or it will surely perish!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Pachy seems completely oblivious to the horrible economic situation the US is currently in. When you don't have a job you won't be buying games, regardless of how assume they are.

The recession's about two years old now.  Gaming was still receiving record income levels for several months afterwards.
