Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Splinter Cell Conviction and its glitch

Now that I've heard about this glitch in the second level of Conviction's single player campaign, I'm scared of what will happen if I play the game on my Xbox 360.

Before I even place the Conviction game disc into my 360 console, I need to know a few things about this glitch:

1) Is this glitch a universal problem, or has it only affected a few owners?

2) Even though I don't have Xbox Live, and have never connected to Xbox Live, is my console still vulnerable to Conviction's glitch?

3) If I get this glitch, do I need to get Xbox Live in order to fix it?

It might help to explain the glitch or even better link to where you heard about it.

If it's this glitch then that means you are only able to get it if you got the first patch. If that's the case, then that means you can get the latest patch that fixes it.

If you haven't gotten any patches then you don't have anything to worry about because it looks as though it only affects those connected to Live and if you were connected to Live, you wouldn't have to worry about it either.

Hooray for taking 20 seconds to do research on your own.

mmm i wouldnt worry about it too much because you can bypass it by clearing the HDD cache

I still don't know what the hell you are talking about

Long story short-- he doesn't have to worry about it and he needs to learn how to use Google.
