Uncharted 2 looks better but GoW3 framerate is like 20 frames above...
Still, visuals alone into consideration, the right vote goes to U2.

I think GOW3 but honestly a few screenshots is no way of comparing the 2 games. Is anyone able to get animated pictures of the 2 like the ones of Killzone 2 that was plastered in a lot of peoples sigs. Sorry I don't know what people call those things

Yeah there the images I'm talking about. Screenshots don't do those two games any justice. They look much better brounght to life.

I'd say GoW3 due to the lighting and little use of bloom and more use of soft shadows, god rays and so on. Truer/natural lighting in my opinion is what games should be going for.

From what I've seen till now (played GoW3 finally for the first time today) and I'm up to the "demo" level (city of olympia):

Character models and animation are level above anything else including Uncharted. The Gods and Kratos are mindblowing. The whole game really does look like living painting, I can't see any other title getting close to it for some time, one thing is to look at pictures (those first two look like old build tbh), other is to see it in motion. Uncharted 2 has great art style, but comparing it to God of War 3 is like comparing comic ilustration to the work of Rubens (style wise, both games are very impressive from technical standpoint). GoW3 is not very strong on textures, that's where UC2 has no equal amongst any other game.

gow3 is the best looking game ever. the lighting is better then any other game.

and atleast use some screens from the final build for gow3

I think overall God of War 3 looks better, the character detail in the game is astonishing...I'd say Uncharted 2 has better textures though, but I haven't played Uncharted 2 for a long time, so I'm not 100% sure.

Id say Uncharted 2.. is a more beutiful game.. but god of war III is definately high up there.. technically it is the best graphicle game on the ps3 imo
