Looks like PS3 beat 360 in Canada in January

"Just got the Jan NPD Canada results. We hammered them again. Badly. Great start to the year!"

Dear god. If they are also fanboys, all hope is lost for the world..

The company bigwigs are the biggest fanboys of them all. A regular poster would get banned by now for making such statements.

Currently playing on PS3: God of War III

Currently playing on Xbox360: Final Fantasy XIII

Currently playing on NDS: Chrono Trigger

How is the Wii still racking up? I can't even find any around my city or online.

Just want to play good games

gaf down then?

Did we get the Wii number already too?

We're not NPD. The "large scale" you cite for PS3 in Dec amounts to ~100k/1350k or whatever - and thats like a 6% difference. It only looks onus because of the volume for the month.

6% on december means 120 k, and that's a lot.

Ok you are not NPD, so why be so focusing on the only reliable public charts in the USA ? Have you launch that thread ?

Vgchartz was spot on ME 2 before adjustments.

PS3: 190k U.S. vs 277k NPD or 87k difference favouring undertracking
Xbox 360: 300k vs 333k or 33k difference which favours nothing. Pretty good.

Alternatively the above is already adjusted for U.S. numbers and they are pretty close to being spot on.

Tease.

The NPD results for january 2009 were
Nintendo Wii - 679,000
Nintendo DS - 510,000
Xbox 360 - 309,000
PlayStation 3 - 203,000
PlayStation Portable - 172,000

So if those numbers are true for 360 and PS3 then both posted higher numbers year over year.

low numbers for the PS3 maybe.
