Well since the GTA episodes didnt even have a day and date, let alone a known story when GTA4 was released, i dont see how the reviewers could calculate the score to fit the review prior to the GTA4 release.
And the DLC of GTA4 have a standalone review that average 90 i think.
In Batmans case, the Joker was playable and everyone could download it the same day the game was released. It had been marketed prior to Batmans release and magazines and internet gaming sites had had hands on play time with the DLC. It was always ment to be apart of the PS3 version of Batman. So i dont think you can compare GTA4 with Batman in this case. And that is also why i feel that in this case it would be hard to exclude it from the review of Batman, since The Joker has a significant roll in the game, and was ment to be playable all along.
