Pretty dejected, for all the outcome was no surprise. I'm not anti-union, certainly not a 'nationalist', but I am all for moving onwards to a better society, something I felt a Yes vote could have managed. Now I'm left unsure of what to make of the botch-job we now face -- assuming we get anything to make a fairer country what Westminster promise. It's made worse when the first day after the vote I read this (Facebook links do work, don't they?):
And then it's all followed by the arseholes in Glasgow with their Union-flag waving, their flares, their chants, and their running charges? WTF? Is this what we've become?
And you're living in Englandshire now doing a phd? Good stuff! I was just down your way a few days ago for a wedding. Great times were had by one and all. I was the only one in a kilt, obviously. Always a larf. :D
