DISCLAIMER: I added some games to my collection which I do not own at the moment, but have played thoroughly by borrowing them from friends. This makes it easier to see which games I have played and which ones I don't. The borrowed ones are: SSX Blur, Double Dash, RE Zero and SSB 64.
I joined this forum because my friend StarcraftManiac insisted that I was gonna like it. Having been here for a while now, I have to admit that he was right. I'm not a total game fanatic who's constantly raving about games and spending all of his money on them, and I don't really care about sales numbers - a general idea of 'who's winner, who's loser' is good enough for me. However, gaming has always been a hobby of mine, and I'm currently more busy with it than ever before. I've had the privilege of playing most great Nintendo titles on the GameCube and Wii, as well as a couple of N64 classics like Super Mario. I'd classify myself as a moderately experienced gamer.
As you can see, I am a fierce supporter of Nintendo - always have been. I like their focus on gameplay experience rather than wowing the audience with extraordinary graphics. Still, only owning a Wii, I am increasingly starting to feel that I need at least one other current-gen console - X360 or PS3 - to fully satisfy my gaming needs. I don't like to miss out on games like Call of Duty 4, Metal Gear Solid 4 and especially Resident Evil 5, but then again, I wouldn't want to miss the latest Zelda or Mario either... (not to mention Super Smash Bros. Brawl). Luckily, having bought a second-hand PS2 for a nice price eases a lot of the pain, since I can play a lot of the franchises I've always wanted to try without wasting all my money on them.
I always try to spell correctly and use the right grammar - know that I will take you twice as seriously if you do the same. Thanks for reading and I'll see you on the forums!
