Ultimately how much Switch versions sell vs PS is kinda beside the point; what matters is that they sell enough to be profitable, and it's pretty clear that they are, at least for the most part, otherwise they would have stopped after the system's first year like with Wii U.

We know from interviews that this port has been in the works since 2022; a dev is not gonna make that kind of investment if they don't see it as worthwhile:
