Local multiplayer, easily.

While I love single player, I always find local multiplayer most rewarding.
Even when I do single player, it’s often a collaborative experience, unless I’m commuting.

Online multiplayer makes me feel depressed,
(unless it’s an extension of local multiplayer).

This generation my most played multiplayer games are Super Mario Kart 8, Crusader Kings 2/3, Victoria 3, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing NH (single-Multi), Dragon Quest 9, and a lot of other smaller games like Kingdom Two Crowns and various older games.

Crusader Kings 3, usually what we do is play as two characters within an Empire and play until one of us is thrust to the Imperial crown, and then we split the lands up into two independent empires. It’s by far the co-operative game I play the most.

CK2 has a lot more interesting stuff in it, but it crashes all the time in multiplayer. And when it does you have to exit out of the game and restart - CK3 is significantly better for multiplayer.

Trying to get a local multiplayer game of Stellaris going.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
