Guessed by @Darashiva

So last year when I put this game at #47, I only saw two possible outcomes for the future: either I replayed it once or twice, getting to know the characters better through the scenes I missed and thus keeping the game more relevant to me, or I wouldn't go back to it and it'd inevitably drop out as it faded in the memory. Instead, the game went up significantly on the list, despite me not replaying it at all. And I'm not sure I want to, either.

It was just really memorable. I don't need to replay it because I still remember it so well, these characters still feel very real. It's rare that any videogame is written as well as Night in the Woods is, and the ones that are almost feel less replayable as a result - because there is nothing about them you forget.
