... I guess it means the same thing it's always meant? That the game will be a timed exclusive on Playstation then release on XBOX? o.O

Yeah, why would it change anything?

Deathloop looks a bit poor though. Stylish, but seems to lack substance. The graphics aren’t great for a game that’s not cross-gen either.

I'm more interested in seeing how Bethesda continue as a studio in general. Will Starfield be a hit? The new Elder Scrolls, Fallout etc.?

Supposedly both Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo were designed to be cross-gen and had PS4 and XB1 versions in development before Sony hatted 1 year timed on them. Sony apparently paid for the PS4 releases to be cancelled so that the games would be PS5 exclusive and drive PS5 sales, since they had already decided to release many of their own 2021 games like Horizon: Forbidden West as cross-gen. Presumably when Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo come to Xbox in 2022 they will release on both Xbox One and Xbox Series, since development of the Xbox One versions weren’t cancelled like the PS4 versions were.
