By every measure, it is a monumental win for Democrats and it is doing a disservice to the hard work put into this bill by people on the left like Bernie, to write it off as an abject failure, or say that this proves that the Democrats are the same as Republicans. It is cause for celebration, and we should give the same "fuck off" to people on the left telling us otherwise that we give to people like Ted Cruz telling us otherwise.
