I don't think it's so much about the importance of the content, but the practice itself...
Sure, I didn't consider that when I posted my message. I wasn't trying to be snarky or anything.
not at all! But I grew up in a world where games rewarded you for playing by giving you skins and stuff, not for opening your wallet. I refuse to support games that have microtransactions in them unless the extra content is, you know extra content. something like paying 1.99 for a Rock Band song is good because it's more content. Paying x dollars to look prettier is dumb.
Yeah, so if it's the practice itself you don't favour then that is fair. I think it's a little extreme considering unlocking content is not that different to it being a reward (play 100 matches or use the coins you earn from 100 matches to get the item), but it would be unfair of me to judge you on that matter.
