Even then, not a single member highlighted this isn't really how transmission is stopped. Masks don't prevent the virus from coming in, they keep it from going out. The analogy would work best if you asked them to spit on their mask and then at you. A wet mask on the outside will wet through to the inside, but no one is going to go around rubbing masks on each other to share the Corona.

That's not true. The standard masks reduce the amount coming in by 70% and going out by 80%, so they're almost as effective at preventing it from coming in as they are keeping it from going out.

Don't have an English source, sorry. But the figures are the amount that gets through the mask, so the lower the better. You can clearly see the arrows leading in have a reduction to the amount getting through.

Well, there goes any respect I had left for the CDC. Apparently, they decided saying what I mentioned was a good idea until around a few months ago.

Do note that the amount going in is still greater than leaving the mask. Seems Polyurethane was every bit as useless as some claimed though. What would be the name of those in Western parlance?

Even I wonder who on God's Green Earth™ expects Biden to be more than a rollback to Obama era policies that didn't really do an awful lot for anyone besides attempt to eliminate Bush's horrific errors and rectify most of his mistakes.

Damn any person who thinks he may even be able to run in 2024.

Like seriously, get your head checked. He's going to be replaced. By who I have no clue, which reminds me: who do you think gets either party's nomination in 2024?

Joe Biden doesn't count.

As long as people make the mistake of voting for Republicans reverting the damage they have caused is the best thing anyone can expect. That's not on Biden or Obama. They just try their best to revert the country back from the hellhole Republicans left it to be. Real progress will come when Democrats actually stay in power.

But I don't expect anything else from people like you, since this is their favorite talking point against Democrats. "Democrats never achieve anything". Yeah, no shit sherlock, of course they can't achieve anything if they are always busy with reverting Republican damage and all of their actual progressive pushes are constantly heavily sabotaged in a spirit of "bipartisanship".

Biden is going to be better than Obama. Not necessarily because he's more progressive, but because he has both the power of the houses and increasingly loud progressive voices within his party. He doesn't actually have to do much except for reverting everything Trump did. All he needs to do is put progressives in high positions and they'll do the work. Bernie's new position alone will make more difference than anything Biden could ever do by himself. Biden is going to be a useful figurehead, but nothing more.

Biden has already said he's going to forgo bipartisan efforts if Republicans don't play nice and that's already the best anyone can hope for.

The Democratic Party started their 2016 war effort with Hillary Rodham Clinton. How the hell do you expect me to believe that?

Even if they decided Bernie was their candidate, this wouldn't change any issue within the party remaining and the support of Bloomberg shows they are every bit as right wing as everyone else.

Want to show me they are acting in our interest and not theirs? Bar any centrists from 2024 and eventually commit to a developed platform which includes UHC and student loan forgiveness/attempts to lower student tuition and make it so any candidate that wants the support of the party has to endorse this platform.

I won't believe them otherwise, especially since Biden already broke any bad woes Trump might have caused by sending a convoy to Syria.
