The Nintendo Switch was the best-selling console with 1,275,788 units sold for the week ending December 5, according to VGChartz estimates. The sales figures for this week include Cyber Monday.

The PlayStation 5 is in its fourth week available in North America, Oceania, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea, and is in its third week in Europe and the rest of the world. The console sold an estimated 336,274 units to bring its lifetime sales to 3,368,098 units. 

The Xbox Series X|S is in its fourth week worldwide and is the fourth best-selling console. The consoles sold an estimated 160,896 units to bring their lifetime sales to 1,817,303 units.

It should be noted the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S continues to be supply-constrained in most markets, which will likely continue through early 2021.

The PlayStation 4 sold an estimated 160,704 units, the Xbox One sold 91,009 units, and the Nintendo 3DS sold 4,559 units.

Nintendo Switch sales compared to the same week a year ago are up 92,065 units (7.8%). The PlayStation 4 is down 367,995 units (-69.6%), the Xbox One is down 275,355 units (-75.2%), and the 3DS is down 57,367 units (-92.6%).
