I'm not downplaying anything I'm just giving facts.  I'm pretty sure the Switch is also the first console that sold over 70 million units without a price cut.

You are, in fact, downplaying the most successful gaming system launch ever as not impressive.

And I don't see where Switch own merits enter in there, it's doing great and that is not being disputed, it just doesn't have anything to do with what you are trying to tackle here.
