LA is a disaster for sure. Technically New York City has more total homeless, but only 4% live on the street supposedly, rest are in missions and other homeless shelters. In LA, 75% of the homeless live on the streets. It feels like most Los Angelinos are apathetic to the homeless problem. Other Californian cities have similar problems, high percentages living on the streets, just with smaller total numbers of homeless. California feels so broken to me.
