There is still a realistic chance for the Democrats to win the Senate before President Biden. Can't wait what the Republicans are gonna pull to hold on to that.

If there were ever a time when Dems should have full control over Gov, it's right now.

Yeah, because Mitch is going to block any covid relief bill for the people like he's doing for half a year now, leading to the death of thousands of Americans and thus screwing the people even more than they already are right now. He's really doing everything in his power to earn his nickname of "Reaper"...

Yup. No person in their right mind would sail Titanic below her full speed. Headlines.

The Titanic is actually a hilariously apt metaphor for how Democrats and Republicans work.

To prevent collision Republicans would rather melt all icebergs than ever slow down, while the Democrats would rather choose a different route far away from any icebergs. One of those policies is clearly superior to the other. And when the ship crashed the Republicans will blame the Democrats for not letting them melt enough icebergs.

In this metaphor the icebergs are both the US population and literal icebergs.

That's one side of the coin. The Rep outlook is more along the lines of the movie itself. Every side has their own viewpoint and to each their own.

Different viewpoints are great and all but catering to a tiny minority is a bad viewpoint to have in a democracy.
