The world sounds interesting, looks like they're fleshing it out a fair bit. FF games have never skimped on world building. There's what, 6 separate countries though? Seems incredibly unlikely they'll all be included to that much of an extent in a single game. Can't help but wonder if they're going for an FF12 like approach here, with a few spin-off games set in the same world or something.

The fact it's an RPG.
If it were a strategy game I may think differently. But how many RPGs have ever included multiple countries in the gameworld/story and properly fleshed all of them out? None that I can think of. If anything you'll have 2 main ones (the main character's one and the enemy one), and the rest will just play minor roles.
