Replicant said: Beware, PS Nation. This is my last day in quarantine so I got some time on my hands. I know the pandemic probably forced Sony and Microsoft to change A LOT of their plans regarding next gen announcements. And with the recent reveal of PS5’s superb UI, cooling, PS4 BC and 2021 lineup, people got hyped in the end. But it’s funny to think about how much praise and hype Sony could’ve been building up from the start if they had held a PlayStation Meeting in February (just like they did in 2013) packed with all (or just some) of these announcements. I think they were keeping hype on control level until they can really put major preorder stock. They can't even have available preorder consoles so more hype would just burn fast.
