This is the weirdest part of that reply. Number one, you do realize this is exactly what Sony has done? Who are some of their biggest developers?

Naughty Dog? Bought.
Insomniac? Bought.
GG? Bought.
MM? Bought.
Sucker Punch? Bought.

Yet, when MS does this, they are just forcing their way into homes by buying companies? Cute.

I mean, you do realise that ND, SP and Insomniac all had long histories with Sony before being bought?

You do realise that MM's first game was LBP?

GG is the only dev in that list that is even remotely similar to what MS has been doing.

But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. MS made a business decision to strengthen their brand. That's what business is. It doesn't change the fact that studios with a long history of 3rd party development and 3rd party IPs, will now belong to a single company.

But it is what it is. Time will tell how effective these purchases will be.
