I think he is underestimating both, but especially underestimating Xbox, assuming that Xbox Series S is real. I’d estimate 50-55m Xbox, 70-75m PS5 by the end of 2024 personally, just based on rumored pricing and games line-ups the next few years.

He is definitely underestimating 2020 sales for both, unless there are supply problems or they are far more expensive than I’m expecting. I mean Xbox One sold 3m in 2013 and it had a lot going against it; lower specs, higher price, negative PR from the poor reveal. Xbox Series X has less disadvantages and a Halo game on launch, no way it only sells 300k more in 2020 than Xbox One sold in 2013. PS5 should also be able to top PS4 in 2013 by more than 200k I think.
