Sorry, it's not clear from my post that I was talking about two different people.

You are right, the guy who asked you if you are dumb got addressed by you here, but his post didn't contain a mod note.

Here is the post of the guy who accused you of trolling. It was a direct response to another moderator (SpokenTruth) who reminded people of general guidelines for the thread, so it would be hard to miss for the mod team.

He didn't get a mod note, because it was an informal warning.
He hadn't been moderated in about a year, last ban was a few years ago, so I felt that was a sufficient measure to take to curb his behavior which seems to have been successful.

If it continued or it escalated, then the moderation measures would have thus matched.

Contrary to popular belief we don't run around and just ban everyone willy-nilly for the smallest of infractions, our jobs are to try and guide people to be more civil and constructive, often the simplest approaches are the best... Often that might just be a private message, sometimes an in-thread warning, allot goes on behind the scenes you are not actually be privy to in this regard.

eva01beserk didn't actually call me a troll, could he have been moderated? Perhaps, but that is a very fine line he didn't cross in my opinion. (Other admins/moderators might have disagreed, but that is me personally.)- And again if it continued to escalate, then measures would have been taken.

I do appreciate your concerns though and it's valuable feedback.
