Summary for June 2019

Something that I don't remember mentioning before is that Tetris 99 is eligible for game ownership if its "DLC" is purchased. Said "DLC" is an offline version of Tetris 99 with various game modes and it can be played without the need for a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, therefore there is no difference to a digital version of any other paid game.
No new members in June. Milestones that were reached this month:
First Party - None.
Third Party - None.
All Games - 2,600 total games.

Participation hit a new all-time low in June and at this rate we won't clear the 3,000 mark for all games by the end of the year.

Barely anything has changed in the above table since one month ago. Super Mario Maker 2 released at the end of June and had an okay debut with 5 copies purchased so far. Cadence of Hyrule - Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda got a surprise release during E3 week and was downloaded to 2 Switch consoles.
July will see the release of two new first party games. The latecomer Fire Emblem: Three Houses is easily identified as a Nintendo game, but the same doesn't hold true for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order which is an IP that has a multiplatform history. Nevertheless, the title was funded by Nintendo which constitutes the same situation as Bayonetta 2. The only difference is that Nintendo shares the copyright with Marvel instead of Sega.
