I don't twist knots. I just took the tweet for what it was. The first half was showing gratitude to veterans and the second hand was talking about positive things that help veterans like a good economy and a strong military.

That's the problem. We're talking about a memorial day tweet here and he couldn't even do that without trying to stroke off his ego or rally up his base. Even if he unarguably had an amazing economic track record right then was simply not the time to brag about it.
