I do get some satisfaction out of seeing certain games crash and burn. I honestly hope any games that push online-only, "live services," aggressive & intrusive microtransactions (esp. loot boxes), and other "Triple Aaaayyyyy" fuckery do poorly or at least raked across the coals for pushing that garbage. I do feel for any developers that might lose their jobs if such games sell poorly, but I will not weep a single tear for the publishers, who are the ones responsible for the parade of anti-consumer practices.
