People seem to be misunderstanding Microsoft's objective with this show. It wasn't to announce new exclusives for XB1, because why would they do that? They've already announced enough exclusives to get them through 2019 and early 2020 if necessary; Ashen, Crackdown 3, Ori 2, Gears 5, Halo Infinite (next Xbox will release somewhere in the Holiday 2019-Holiday 2020 window). The goal wasn't to announce new exclusives, but to show off some 3rd parties, announce new Gamepass games, and showoff Crackdown 3 MP which we haven't heard about in years, and lastly to announce some more studio acquisitions to get people hyped for next-gen. MS is looking to next-gen now, just like Sony, why do you think Sony skipped their usual Paris Games Week and PSX shows this year? It's because they're now saving up announcements for next-gen, just like MS is.
