The thing I'm most impressed by in those screens is the bokeh depth of field effect on distant objects like the trees, I love boken and I wish more games utilized it. The foliage and texture quality is also pretty impressive thanks to photogrammetry.
I've said it many times before, but my hope for next-gen is for your average AAA game to achieve at least the level of graphics that Witcher 3 had before it got downgraded.
As I recall, that early Witcher 3 footage was said to be running at 1080p on a GTX 780ti, a 5 tflop GPU. With any luck, next-gen consoles should be able to manage that level of graphics at 4K with 10-14tflop GPU's, which is about what I'm expecting on Xbox 4 and PS5.
If we get even better graphics than Witcher 3 pre-downgrade I'm really going to love next-gen.Last edited by shikamaru317 - on 14 May 2018
