I meant what I said, no hyperbole involved. I've found Trumps campaign and tactics dangerous ever since he was first looking to become a serious candidate and have been breaking down how he has been using classic manipulation and deflection tactics, right down to the 'harmless clown' image, ever snce then. And I've also made post pertaining to that, but seeing that the forum is big, it's easy to have missed any of that.
Call me a hysteric if you like but anyone seeing people like Putin, Erdoan and the leftover Kaczynski operate as well as having even just passing familiarity with historic dictaorships can see the paralells here. They almost never happen over night. Someone seizes power through election or otherwise and then slowly exploits and undermines the system until they are the only significant power in te state all the while using extremist, simplified viewpoints to gather support in the general public.
Trump has banned reporters from Networks critical of him from the White House and established his own News Network to spread News that fit with his warped view of himself. It honestly boggles my mind that people are still defending this.
