#32 - Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES/SNES/GBA)
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhh. This game was one of the games that got me into video gaming. My cousins would play it all the time and whenever I visit them I would watch them play the game the whole time (they never let me touch their NES D:).
Anyways - fast forward a few years later. I got myself a shot at the game. I love the amazing level design, the music, the visuals, everything was incredible about this game. Although I prefer Super Mario World - SMB3 still has a special place for me for its unique experience - an experience that Nintendo has managed to never repeat again unfortunately (same with SMW :p).
I beaten this game so many times both using and not using the whistles. I played the NES version so many times and the SNES remake at least 2-3 times. Last year I managed to play the GBA port for the first time and it was such an amazing experience even on a portable.
I played the SNES version again and recorded it this time as well: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgU0IdjAiGw7aJ5KOmRvclGA4lBEUGWQL
Thinking about doing a NES and a GBA video playlist run sometime in the future but not now.
