This is what happens when Nintendo gets a bit nostalgic and feels like going back to one of its greatest games of old: we get another amazing game. A Link Between Worlds was a phenomenal sequel, combining the classic world and music of A Link to the Past with lots of new elements and new ideas, besides a new story. And while it did shake the Zelda formula quite a bit with the item rental system, stamina meter, wall-merging and non-linear dungeons, the game still failed to truly shine as a Zelda game to me because it felt like the same old... if anything, it felt like A Link to the Past, only made worse. However, it's still an absolute blast and definitely one of the finest handheld Zelda games.
