NeoGAF is pretty much the biggest and most active video game forums on the internet (to my knowledge). They get a lot of insider info linked there.

Also they dislike VGChartz with a fiery passion.

No, nuthin' like VGC.  In fact, the word "VGChartz" is banned over there last I heard - they hate VGC with a passion.  Just visit the NPD forum they have over there (once the site is resuscitated) and you'll get all your questions answered.
