Animal Crossing is the true saviour of this world!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Xbone dips below the 40k mark. Wonder just how low it'll go in the coming months.

A true system seller.

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

What's keeping PS4 at 14k in Japan atm, given its usual baseline is around half that these days?

People setting themselves up for self-isolation?

A fun and cute game is a nice distraction. Doom Eternal also had a good first week. Earning twice as much revenue as 2016 Doom did at launch.

That's nice to know. Read somewhere DOOM Eternal only sold a percentage of D2016 in the UK.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

PS4 fell way harder than some fans expected tbh. No way it will sell over 10 millions this year. It will actually be lucky to be over 8-9 millions at this rate. With Corona i don't see Sony doing a price cut and once it's done it will be too close to the PS5, which will get all the promotion.

Switch out here doing Christmas level numbers in March that's nuts. It will def boost the sales for a couple more weeks, Nintendo said more shipments are on the way and Animal crossing is all over social media it's insane. My boyfriend isn't a big console gamer but suddenly wants a Switch because of Animal crossing.

I really think Switch still has a pretty good chance of peaking this year.

I really, really doubt that. In the middle of a global pandemic, where retailers will be shut down in many places?

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Even factoring in online retailers, I just can't see a system peaking in the year of the worst pandemic in over a century.

Not to mention they have yet to prove they have any more major, system-selling games for the rest of the year.
