Forums - Gaming Discussion - Shovel Knights has sold 2.5 million units

It was informed during the Yatch Club Presents.Link below for the video.

They also said they have 2 new games in development. The way they said it, seems like they are done with Shovel Knight spin offs.Honestly, at this point I just want Shovel Knight 2 or a new IP from them.

Sold pretty well. And it deserves it as well. I haven't mastered the game, but the amount I played it, I have to say that I had a lot of fun.

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Very well deserved and im very glad it did, Yacht Club did an amazing job with this game and their following support after release was fantastic. Kickstarter crowdfunding done the best possible way.

I'm the only person on Earth that did not care for it. Not criticism. I just wasn't feeling it.

Ummm what? If it sold 2.5 million then that means 99.99964% roughly of the global population didn't care for it if there are 7,000,000,000 people.

I say this as someone that likes the game btw.

Let me re-phrase. Only person on Earth who played it and ended up not liking it.

Strange. They said it sold 2.65 million back in September.

Weird.

Well, they say in the video that it is above 2.5 million, but still...

Maybe your figure is including separate DLC purchases?
